PASSIONaTe about FORM AND AESTHETICS
My name is Olivia Binggeli and I educated my bachelor degree in Industrial Design from The Royal Danish Academy in 2019, three weeks after I gave birth to my son.
After a year off, I started my candidate degree in Ceramic Design because I wanted to research form and aesthetics in materials, in between I gave birth to my daughter, and I finished my master in June 2023.
I am passionate about form understanding and how form language play a role in an object. It shows in my work and mindset that I crave to research materials and their many opportunities, aesthetics and tactility.
The years at Ceramic design has been a new way of understanding an object for me. I have been forced to look at a design in a new way which have made me a better designer and artist than before. I do not only see the object as what it is but tend to see the object beyond that and get a greater understanding of its language.
